Yolanda Rodriguez was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. She lived in Urban Roosevelt Avenue a small town in Hato Rey, between Rio Piedras and San Juan. She graduated from Republica De Columbia, High School at the age of 17 and ½. When she was six years old she drew the Gerber Baby and from then on she began drawing and painting. , At her school ; teachers will ask her to draw sceneries from the Three Kings and Christmas, on the top heading of a huge blackboard in her classroom. Yolanda day dreamed to become an artist. Soon after graduating her High School, she got married and came to New York to live with her favorite uncle, Roberto Rosario. In 1973 while pregnant with her fourth child, Yolanda, graduated from BMCC , gaining an Associate in Arts/ Diploma. All of these scholarships where offered to her, while working as an Assistant Teacher, at P.S. 140 at 123 Ridge Street in Manhattan. She continued to persuade her artistic career and aspirations during her busy life. She soon graduated and continued her student life to finish with a Bachelor Degr
